As I stared at my reflection Thoughts of self-doubt And a low self-esteem Stared back at me. Why do I only see the negative in me? So I looked again closely And I could see what my Mirror showed me. That pure look of innocence That I thought was ripped From me. That smile that radiates Like the rays of the sun On a hot summer day.
